Welcome and thank you for visiting my site. I hope these images bring a moment of peaceful joy into your day. Like the website says, my name is Rafael Calderon. I am a part-time van lifer, nature loving photographer, videographer, writer and musician who travels the West and anywhere else a job or desire is willing to take me. 

Through my images I attempt to capture and translate the magic feeling I experience in the moments you see here. A click of the camera shutter can't really replicate the feeling of being there, therefore as an artist, I use a camera, a computer and my imagination to go beyond simple documentation to translate the feeling of the moment as best I can. I experience immense joy in creating a unique piece of art from a unique moment in time.

I feel the beauty of nature connects with us all on a spiritual level. It's that beauty that inspires me to create these works of art to promote joy and peace, either for a brief moment on your screen, or a lifetime in your living space.
